Inspired by retro video games like The Legend of Zelda and Megaman, this illustration holds a personal connection to my childhood. I would often daydream about the adventures and challenges that exist in each world and imagine myself as the protagonist that has to go through the hero’s journey to ultimately triumph over the final boss at the end. This piece is a reflection of those memories that I recall so fondly. To make the piece more exciting, I included very bright and dynamic lighting, and used the motion blur tool at the end to touch up.
