This is an illustration made as a promotional poster for the Independent Game Development Club that I co-led within St. George’s School. I wanted to capture the essence of a game, which to me, is the conquering of a challenge. I used a very iconic and recognizable theme of the ‘hero’ arriving at a large and ominous castle in order to overcome the challenges that lie ahead. I utilized various brushes and effects in order to create that atmospheric effect that I had desired.
